I am a freelance photographer based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. I am currently exploring landscape and wildlife photography.

Drawing is my true passion. There is possibly no other activity I can pursue with such an infinite patience, dedication and love.
I partly draw upon my upbringing and experiences within the multi-cultural West London community to inspire my artwork.
Working instinctively the imagery and techniques elvolving from the application of ink or pencil to paper.

I seek to be as true to myself as possible whilst attaining the high standards and levels of details I enforce upon myself.
My current work is illustrative, partly informed and influenced by my practice as a tattooist. I enjoy life drawing and anatomical studies.
I am very self-critical hence have taken this amount of time to openly submit any of my Artwork!

Symbolism across religion, alchemy and the occult intrigues me greatly.
I enjoy thorough reseach whilst completing my studies.
My methods are usually very time consuming but I can also work rapidly and freely, such as spontaneous, timed life studies.
I do like my paintings to include cryptic messages and have depth of research, although these are clearly subjective and open to interpretation.
I tend to veer towards the darker side where my interests truly lie..

Pieces of Flora on the Big White Wall

Limited edition flower prints with complimentary fragmented hand embellished digital flower images produced on paper made from 90% bamboo fibre and 10% cotton rag. The Big White Wall is located in the Tunbridge Wells Library, Civic Centre, Mount Pleasant, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN1 1JN. Admission is FREE and the exhibition space is open 7 days a week.

I work in fabric and on paper, using a range of techniques and in a variety of sizes. Different types of printmaking, photography and processes using new media have featured in recent pieces. The foundation of my work is drawing and is expressed through the stitched line.

My ‘layered embroideries’ are made of many types of fabric, sewn together by hand and machine. These are then cut through and sewn over with hand and machine stitching. I use recycled fabrics, lace, string, tapestry, vintage images and found ephemera to create ‘small worlds’ . Travel and memory combine to influence my choice of subject matter, and I am particularly interested in recording the contrasts and impact of the natural and built environment.
