My art background is in sculpture, but photography has always been a passion of mine, from documenting my art work to projecting images digitally in to installation spaces. I now use photography as a creative tool to explore environments that have a sense of time and place and often find themes of abandonment within my work.

I also teach graphic design part time at Canterbury college, am a freelance web designer and run a creative arts collective that manages several websites, including this one.

I am currently working on several photographic and video projects. The current main focus of my attention is a project with the working title ‘Abandoned’. This project is comprised of photographs made during a series of photo walks and bike rides primarily, although not entirely, between the landmark Reculver towers on the North Kent coast and Pegwell bay on the south side of the Isle of Thanet.
On these walks/rides I photograph the abandoned, washed up and discarded objects I encounter. I have been doing this for over two years, its a work in progress, the collection contains over 630 photographs. This project has largely been made using a simple digital compact camera.
